I shot Saturday’s Yankees-Indians game at Yankee Stadium, a 13-11 Cleveland win thanks to a miserable seventh inning meltdown from David Robertson, Sergio Mitre, Damaso Marte and Joba Chamberlain.

Here’s a few scenes from the afternoon.

Shin-Soo Choo went 0-for-6 while his teammates totaled 13 runs. (Danny Wild/MLB.com)

I love shooting Yankees captain Derek Jeter, he is always smiling or busting it down the line.

I’ve wanted to photograph Joba Chamberlain for years since he arrived in style back in 2007. I don’t shoot the Yankees consistently, so today was my first chance to get him pitching. There was also some nice late afternoon sunlight on the mound when he came on with runners on base. He gave up four runs, plus he allowed two inherited runners to score… ugh.
