Sports Illustrated rolled out a story about upcoming college football bowl games tonight and featured my photo of Temple running back Bernard Pierce on the front of SI.com (above). I took the photo last month during Army’s game against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. I got a lot of nice images of Pierce that day shooting from the endzone, but was surprised to see it end up on SI today. Here’s a cropped version and the original image below, which shows Pierce stiff-arming Army’s Tom Holloway on an outside run to the right. Love how you can see his eyes and Holloway’s hands outstretched:
