SI, ESPN, Yahoo and more

Just posting some recent photos I’ve had published this week around the web. Jan. 24 was a busy day as I had images in Sports Illustrated, ESPN, USA Today and Yahoo! Sports. The screenshot above led the front page of SportsIllustrated.com for SI’s story about former Don Bosco DB Yuri Wright, who was kicked out of the powerhouse prep school for inflamatory Tweets and then committed to Colorado (passing up Notre Dame and Rutgers). SI used a few shots of him on the main homepage and their subpage for high school sports:

Sports Illustrated also published a photo gallery of the top high school football recruits, and two more of my images made it there.  First was Don Bosco defensive end Darius Hamilton, who has yet to choose a college and is ranked No. 11 nationally by Rivals:

The second was offensive lineman Kyle Kalis, an Ohio senior who had already committed to Michigan when I photographed him last fall at Fordham in the Bronx:

Also in the news, the Naval Academy agreed to join the Big East for football beginning in 2015. Cue the celebratory Navy photos — oddly enough, two of them were the same — first on USA Today:
