Earlier this week I scored my first win in one of these Facebook fan voting contests when this image of the sunset over Lake Minnewaska narrowly won the New York State Parks Dept.’s contest.

Dense woodlands, sheer cliffs, stunning vistas, miles of trails, glacial lakes, and waterfalls… this park is a MUST see… oh and did we mention…. the park is in peak fall color now! #WeekendDaytrip
