The New York Yankees hosted “Military Appreciation Day” at Yankee Stadium on June 12, 2010 before their interleague game with the Houston Astros.
Pre-game ceremonies featured the United States Army’s Golden Knights parachute team, Army Special Forces soldiers as honored guests, Lieutenant General Frank Kearney and the U.S. Military Academy’s honor guard from West Point, NY.
