LaDainian Tomlinson, the NFL’s fifth all-time leading rusher, is retiring this week after 11 seasons.
Tomlinson, who will finish his career with 13,684 yards and 145 touchdowns, spent his first nine seasons with San Diego and the final two with the Jets here in New York. I was lucky enough to shoot a Jets-Chargers game last season, so I thought I’d post a few images of him. Tomlinson will sign a one-day contract with the Chargers — a ceremonial move — and then announce his retirement. Incredibly, he’s only 32.
