The illustrated commute: Chelsea, Meatpacking District by iPhone

Occasionally I challenge myself to snap some photos on my walk to work in lower Manhattan, a commute that I’ve done now for about eight years and has become pretty monotonous. My typical daily journey starts (after a long train and PATH ride) either at the 14th St or Christopher St. PATH stations in Manhattan, and I then walk some blocks to the Chelsea Market on 9th Avenue. 14th Street is a wide, busy and more commercialized route, while walking up Hudson Street and it’s small, old Belgium Block side streets, provides a totally different vibe of the area.
