One of the news headlines to come out of this year’s Army-Navy game was President Trump’s announcement that his policy change allowing service academy athletes to pursue professional sports careers was going into effect. I was lucky enough to be in Army’s locker room for the moment and one of the images was featured that afternoon on ESPN.com.

Behind the scenes: Army takes on Ohio State
COLUMBUS, Ohio — I’m again traveling with Army football this season as the Black Knights look to build on the momentum of a huge 2016 season that included a win over Navy and a victory in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. West Point, with two wins in its first two games this year, took off for Ohio State on Sept. …
Army knocks off Rice, off to 2-0 start
Army kicked off the 2016 season with a win on the road at Temple, but the Black Knights did something on Saturday that hadn’t occurred in 20 years. West Point beat Rice, 31-14, to start a season 2-0 for the first since 1996. The victory over the Owls also marked the first time Army had gone consecutive games without a turnover, …
Army’s tribute featured in Sports Illustrated
This week’s issue of Sports Illustrated (Nov. 23, 2015) features one of my photos from the Army football team’s tribute to France this past Saturday in West Point. SI published a nice collection of images from the sports world’s efforts to honor France in the wake of last week’s terrorist attacks on Paris. You can find the full-page photo in …

Army drops 2015 opener to Fordham
Army began the 2015 season a close 37-35 loss to Fordham on Sept. 4, a disappointing start to head coach Jeff Monken’s second season at West Point. The game featured plenty of new names and faces though, with sophomore quarterback Ahmad Bradshow showing a lot of potential in his first career start. Bradshaw can run the option and showed a …
Navy makes it 13 straight in 17-10 win over Army
Navy kept its long-running streak alive this past weekend with a 17-10 victory over Army in the 115th meeting between the two rival service academies. Navy claimed the W on a controversial goal line touchdown run by quarterback Keenyn Reynolds, and Army’s offense couldn’t quite mount a comeback despite a late 53-yard field goal setup an onside kick in the …
