A holiday weekend of Army football

Ahh, the triple option offense in all its glory, on display this weekend.

We may be a few months away from opening day at West Point, but the folks at CBS College Sports are giving fans a little tuneup this holiday weekend with a marathon of Army-Navy games. West Point has a listing of the games scheduled to run (yea, a lot of Navy victories).

The good news, though, is we’ve made it to July, so we’re about a month away from practices heating up at West Point. I found out the other day that the Academy will be decorating Army’s main training facility, Foley Athletic Center, with banners of my photos — pretty cool, I can’t wait to go check it out. I’ll also have some Army lacrosse images framed on display at Michie Stadium.

Army is also looking for donations to the “Kimsey Canvas Project,” which aims to shine up the Kimsey Center, which houses Army’s clubhouse, press conference area, football offices, gyms and the new Kimsey Club for fans on game day. We’ll see if any of my photos sneak in there.
