Rough end for Army baseball

It was that kind of a day for Army. Mistake, a bad start and a leaky bullpen led to an 11-7 loss to Bucknell, ending Army’s run for a second straight Patriot League championship. Army fell in Game 3 of the semifinals on Sunday, ending their season.

Reliever Steve Cummings had a rough as day as anyone — he gave up four runs in 1 2/3 innings.

Personally, it was a nice day to get out and shoot. Sunny skies, low 70s — a great day to be outside and watch baseball. I sat back a few innings with the intent of only shooting infielders/defense, and, as planned, got a nice sequence of Clint Moore bare-handing an infield single.
